An energySMART engineer will complete a detailed study of your facility geared toward identifying no- and low-cost opportunities for operational improvements to your facility’s existing energy-using system.
The free study includes:
- An initial phone call to discuss your facility’s operations and needs
- A walk-through by an engineer to identify RCx opportunities
- A customized report detailing estimated low-cost energy savings, and incentives for each recommended project
- Ongoing support as identified natural gas projects are implemented
A facility may only qualify for an RCx study if the facility has an annual natural gas usage of 150,000 therms or more, has an Energy Management System (EMS) with trending capabilities and a central heating system. You must be willing and able to commit to a capital investment of at least $5,000 towards RCx related measures. This commitment is in consideration for receiving a free, valuable study.
Incentives are based on the therms saved from the energy efficiency project:
|Incentive amount||Incentive cap|
per therm saved
|Incentives cannot exceed the total project cost|
