Eligible products for the Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency Program can be found via the qualifying product lists below:
- Qualifying Gas Boilers - Efficiency Level - AFUE > 90%
- Qualifying Gas Boilers - Efficiency Level - AFUE > 95%
- Qualifying Gas Furnaces - Efficiency Level - AFUE > 92%
- Qualifying Gas Furnaces - Efficiency Level - AFUE > 95%
- Qualifying Gas Water Heaters - Efficiency Level - EF > 0.67
If your product is not listed on one of these qualifying products lists but you believe it meets the Program requirements, please contact us to verify eligibility.
Complete System Replacements: Central Air Conditioning (CAC) units do not have a qualifying products list. The CAC with both the evaporator coil and condensor unit, must be rated at 14.5 SEER or greater and be AHRI Certified. Visit www.ahridirectory.org to verify certification.
Please Note: The current ENERGY STAR rating for boilers and furnaces includes an efficiency range that may be lower than the Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency Program's efficiency levels, which would make these products ineligible for rebates under the Nicor Gas program. Please be sure to check the efficiency level requirements on the Rebate Information page prior to purchasing a product.
