Please note: Space heating steam boiler rebates and pool/spa heater rebates are no longer available as of June 1, 2013. Paper applications must be submitted by June 30, 2013 for qualifying purchases and installations completed by May 31, 2013 to be considered for a rebate. The online application system is not available for steam boiler or pool/spa heater rebates.

Important Reminders
- Equipment must be purchased and installed between June 1, 2011 and May 31, 2014, unless otherwise noted below. The offer is valid from June 1, 2011 to May 31, 2014, or until funds are depleted, whichever comes first.
- Pipe insulation, industrial/process steam traps and pool/spa covers must be purchased and installed October 7, 2011 - May 31, 2014.
- Bottom-finned stock pots must be purchased and installed June 1, 2012 - May 31, 2014.
- Demand-controlled ventilation and ozone laundry projects must be purchased and installed June 1, 2013 - May 31, 2014.
- Online applications must be submitted, and mail-in applications must be postmarked no later than 90 days after installation, or by June 30, 2014, whichever comes first.
- * Landlord Applicants:
- Landlords and property owners who are not the Nicor Gas Account Holders for the space in which qualifying equipment is installed may apply for rebates, and are now able to use the online application system.
- You must submit a completed and Account Holder-signed Customer Release Form (click here to download). Upload your completed form in Step 1 of the online application system, or mail it into the Rebate Submission address listed below
- All applications must include an Itemized Contractor Invoice/Proof of Purchase Receipt, submitted to the Rebate Submission Address listed below, with all of the following requirements. Additional requirements may apply. Visit the Rebate Information pages for the rebate you are applying for.
- Equipment make, model and serial number (if the product has a serial number)
- Total installed cost (itemized by qualifying equipment)
- Purchase date and installation date (if purchased and installed on different dates)
- Professional contractor’s business/company name, address and phone number (if installed by a professional contractor)
- Balance due of zero, paid in full stamp or payment terms
- Furnace Invoices: Invoices must include the installation configuration ("Upflow," "Downflow," or "Horizontal").
- ** Boiler Tune-Up Rebate Applications:
- Rebate Applications must include verification of completed Boiler Tune-Up Services (only one of the following is required):
- Completed and signed Boiler Tune-Up Checklist (available here for download);
- Contractor invoice including all of the boiler tune-up services, clearly itemized, and the Service Technician's signature; or
- Service Technician's signature on Page 2 of the Rebate Application, certifying all of the services in the Checklist were completed.
Steam boiler and pool/spa heater rebates are only available for purchases and installations completed by May 31, 2013. Applications must have be submitted by June 30, 2013 to be eligible.
